\u201cHosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!\u201d<\/i>\n\n

<\/span>Bible reading:\nMatthew 21:1\u201311

\n1 Now when they drew near to Jerusalem and came to Bethphage, to the Mount of Olives, then Jesus sent two disciples,

2 saying to them, \u201cGo into the village in front of you, and immediately you will find a donkey tied, and a colt with her. Untie them and bring them to me.

3 If anyone says anything to you, you shall say, \u2018The Lord needs them,\u2019 and he will send them at once.\u201d

4 This took place to fulfill what was spoken by the prophet, saying,\n\n

5 \u201cSay to the daughter of Zion,\n\u2018Behold, your king is coming to you,\n humble, and mounted on a donkey,\n on a colt,[a] the foal of a beast of burden.\u2019\u201d\n\n

6 The disciples went and did as Jesus had directed them.

7 They brought the donkey and the colt and put on them their cloaks, and he sat on them.

8 Most of the crowd spread their cloaks on the road, and others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road.

9 And the crowds that went before him and that followed him were shouting, \u201cHosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!\u201d

10 And when he entered Jerusalem, the whole city was stirred up, saying, \u201cWho is this?\u201d

11 And the crowds said, \u201cThis is the prophet Jesus, from Nazareth of Galilee.\u201d<\/i>\n\n

<\/span>Reflection<\/u>:\n\n

\n\nJesus entered Jerusalem as King\u2014but not the kind of King people expected.\nHe came in humility, yet with full authority.\n\nThe crowd celebrated Him\u2026 but many did not truly understand Him.\n\n

<\/span>Question<\/u>:\n\n

\nAm I welcoming Jesus as King on my terms, or on His terms?\n\n

<\/span>Prayer<\/u>:

\n12 And Jesus entered the temple[a] and drove out all who sold and bought in the temple, and he overturned the tables of the money-changers and the seats of those who sold pigeons.

13 He said to them, \u201cIt is written, \u2018My house shall be called a house of prayer,\u2019 but you make it a den of robbers.\u201d\n\n

14 And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple, and he healed them.

15 But when the chief priests and the scribes saw the wonderful things that he did, and the children crying out in the temple, \u201cHosanna to the Son of David!\u201d they were indignant,

16 and they said to him, \u201cDo you hear what these are saying?\u201d And Jesus said to them, \u201cYes; have you never read,\n\n\u201c\u2018Out of the mouth of infants and nursing babies\n you have prepared praise\u2019?\u201d\n\n

17 And leaving them, he went out of the city to Bethany and lodged there.<\/i>\n\n

<\/span>Reflection<\/u>:\n\n

\n\nJesus cleansed the temple because it had become something it was never meant to be.\n\nBefore God transforms the world, He cleanses His house\u2014our hearts.\n\n

<\/span>Question<\/u>:\n\n

\nWhat needs to be cleared out of my life?\n\n

<\/span>Prayer<\/u>:

\n\nLord,\nSearch my heart.\nRemove anything that does not honor You.\nMake my life a place where You are truly welcome.\nTeach me to live a life of prayer and purity.\nAmen.<\/span><\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

\u201cYou shall love the Lord your God\u2026 You shall love your neighbor as yourself.\u201d<\/i>\n\n

<\/span>Bible reading:\nMatthew 21:34\u201340

\n34 When the season for fruit drew near, he sent his servants[a] to the tenants to get his fruit.

35 And the tenants took his servants and beat one, killed another, and stoned another.

36 Again he sent other servants, more than the first. And they did the same to them.

37 Finally he sent his son to them, saying, \u2018They will respect my son.\u2019

38 But when the tenants saw the son, they said to themselves, \u2018This is the heir. Come, let us kill him and have his inheritance.\u2019

39 And they took him and threw him out of the vineyard and killed him. 4

0 When therefore the owner of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those tenants?\u201d\n\n<\/i>\n\n

<\/span>Reflection<\/u>:\n\n

\n\nJesus simplified everything into love\u2014love for God and love for people.\n\nThe Kingdom is not complicated, but it is demanding.\n\n

\nIs my life truly centered on loving God and others?\n

<\/span>Prayer<\/u>:

\n6 Now when Jesus was at Bethany in the house of Simon the leper,[a]

7 a woman came up to him with an alabaster flask of very expensive ointment, and she poured it on his head as he reclined at table.

8 And when the disciples saw it, they were indignant, saying, \u201cWhy this waste?

9 For this could have been sold for a large sum and given to the poor.\u201d

10 But Jesus, aware of this, said to them, \u201cWhy do you trouble the woman? For she has done a beautiful thing to me.

11 For you always have the poor with you, but you will not always have me.

12 In pouring this ointment on my body, she has done it to prepare me for burial.

13 Truly, I say to you, wherever this gospel is proclaimed in the whole world, what she has done will also be told in memory of her.\u201d\n\n<\/i>\n\n

<\/span>Reflection<\/u>:\n\n

\n\nWhile others plotted against Jesus, one woman poured out everything in worship.\n\nShe understood His worth.\n\n

\nWhat is Jesus worth to me?\n

<\/span>Bible reading:\nJohn 13:1\u201315, Luke 22:19\u201320

\n1 Now before the Feast of the Passover, when Jesus knew that his hour had come to depart out of this world to the Father, having loved his own who were in the world, he loved them to the end.

2 During supper, when the devil had already put it into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, to betray him,

3 Jesus, knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he had come from God and was going back to God,

4 rose from supper. He laid aside his outer garments, and taking a towel, tied it around his waist.

5 Then he poured water into a basin and began to wash the disciples' feet and to wipe them with the towel that was wrapped around him.

6 He came to Simon Peter, who said to him, \u201cLord, do you wash my feet?\u201d

7 Jesus answered him, \u201cWhat I am doing you do not understand now, but afterward you will understand.\u201d

8 Peter said to him, \u201cYou shall never wash my feet.\u201d Jesus answered him, \u201cIf I do not wash you, you have no share with me.\u201d

9 Simon Peter said to him, \u201cLord, not my feet only but also my hands and my head!\u201d

10 Jesus said to him, \u201cThe one who has bathed does not need to wash, except for his feet,[a] but is completely clean. And you[b] are clean, but not every one of you.\u201d

11 For he knew who was to betray him; that was why he said, \u201cNot all of you are clean.\u201d\n\n

12 When he had washed their feet and put on his outer garments and resumed his place, he said to them, \u201cDo you understand what I have done to you?

13 You call me Teacher and Lord, and you are right, for so I am.

14 If I then, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet.

15 For I have given you an example, that you also should do just as I have done to you.\n\n

Luke 22:19\u201320<\/u><\/b>\n

19 And he took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to them, saying, \u201cThis is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.\u201d

20 And likewise the cup after they had eaten, saying, \u201cThis cup that is poured out for you is the new covenant in my blood.\n\n<\/i>\n\n

<\/span>Reflection<\/u>:\n\n

\n\nJesus, the King, washed feet and gave Himself.\n\n

True Kingdom leadership is servanthood.\nTrue love is sacrifice.\n\n

<\/span>Question<\/u>:\n\n

\nAm I willing to serve and give like Jesus?\n

<\/span>Prayer<\/u>:

\n\nLord,\nGive me a servant\u2019s heart.\nTeach me humility and love.\nHelp me to live a life that reflects Your sacrifice.\nAmen.<\/span><\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Day 6 \u2013 Good Friday (April 3rd): \nThe King Is Crucified<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\u201cIt is finished.\u201d<\/i>\n\n

<\/span>Bible reading:\nIsaiah 53:3\u20136, John 19:16\u201330

\n3 He was despised and rejected[a] by men,\n a man of sorrows[b] and acquainted with grief;\nand as one from whom men hide their faces\n he was despised, and we esteemed him not.\n\n

4 Surely he has borne our griefs\n and carried our sorrows;\nyet we esteemed him stricken,\n smitten by God, and afflicted.\n

5 But he was pierced for our transgressions;\n he was crushed for our iniquities;\nupon him was the chastisement that brought us peace,\n and with his wounds we are healed.\n

6 All we like sheep have gone astray;\n we have turned\u2014every one\u2014to his own way;\nand the Lord has laid on him\n the iniquity of us all.\n\n

John 19:16\u201330<\/u><\/b>\n

16 So he delivered him over to them to be crucified.\n\nSo they took Jesus,

17 and he went out, bearing his own cross, to the place called The Place of a Skull, which in Aramaic is called Golgotha.

18 There they crucified him, and with him two others, one on either side, and Jesus between them.

19 Pilate also wrote an inscription and put it on the cross. It read, \u201cJesus of Nazareth, the King of the Jews.\u201d

20 Many of the Jews read this inscription, for the place where Jesus was crucified was near the city, and it was written in Aramaic, in Latin, and in Greek.

21 So the chief priests of the Jews said to Pilate, \u201cDo not write, \u2018The King of the Jews,\u2019 but rather, \u2018This man said, I am King of the Jews.\u2019\u201d

22 Pilate answered, \u201cWhat I have written I have written.\u201d\n\n

23 When the soldiers had crucified Jesus, they took his garments and divided them into four parts, one part for each soldier; also his tunic. But the tunic was seamless, woven in one piece from top to bottom,

24 so they said to one another, \u201cLet us not tear it, but cast lots for it to see whose it shall be.\u201d This was to fulfill the Scripture which says,\n\n\u201cThey divided my garments among them,\n and for my clothing they cast lots.\u201d\n\nSo the soldiers did these things,

25 but standing by the cross of Jesus were his mother and his mother's sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene.

26 When Jesus saw his mother and the disciple whom he loved standing nearby, he said to his mother, \u201cWoman, behold, your son!\u201d

27 Then he said to the disciple, \u201cBehold, your mother!\u201d And from that hour the disciple took her to his own home.\n\n\n

28 After this, Jesus, knowing that all was now finished, said (to fulfill the Scripture), \u201cI thirst.\u201d

29 A jar full of sour wine stood there, so they put a sponge full of the sour wine on a hyssop branch and held it to his mouth.

30 When Jesus had received the sour wine, he said, \u201cIt is finished,\u201d and he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.\n\n\n\n<\/i>\n\n

<\/span>Reflection<\/u>:\n\n

\n\nJesus paid the full price for sin.\n\nYour guilt, your shame, your past\u2014carried on the cross.\n\nThis is the price of the Kingdom.\nTrue love is sacrifice.\n\n

<\/span>Question<\/u>:\n\n

\nDo I truly believe that Jesus has paid it all for me?\n

<\/span>Prayer<\/u>:

\n\nJesus,\nThank You for the cross.\nThank You for taking my place.\nI receive Your forgiveness.\nI surrender my life to You again.\nAmen.<\/span><\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

57 When it was evening, there came a rich man from Arimathea, named Joseph, who also was a disciple of Jesus.

58 He went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus. Then Pilate ordered it to be given to him.

59 And Joseph took the body and wrapped it in a clean linen shroud

60 and laid it in his own new tomb, which he had cut in the rock. And he rolled a great stone to the entrance of the tomb and went away.

61 Mary Magdalene and the other Mary were there, sitting opposite the tomb.\n\n

\n62 The next day, that is, after the day of Preparation, the chief priests and the Pharisees gathered before Pilate

63 and said, \u201cSir, we remember how that impostor said, while he was still alive, \u2018After three days I will rise.\u2019

64 Therefore order the tomb to be made secure until the third day, lest his disciples go and steal him away and tell the people, \u2018He has risen from the dead,\u2019 and the last fraud will be worse than the first.\u201d

65 Pilate said to them, \u201cYou have a guard[a] of soldiers. Go, make it as secure as you can.\u201d

66 So they went and made the tomb secure by sealing the stone and setting a guard.\n\n\n\n\n\n<\/i>\n\n

<\/span>Reflection<\/u>:\n\n

\n\nSaturday feels like silence.\n\nHope seems buried.\nNothing seems to be happening.\n\nBut God is still at work.\n\n

<\/span>Question<\/u>:\n\n

\nCan I trust God even when I don\u2019t see what He is doing?\n

<\/span>Prayer<\/u>:

\n\nFather,\nHelp me to trust You in the silence.\nWhen I don\u2019t understand, teach me to wait in faith.\nI believe You are still working.\nAmen.<\/span><\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

1 Now after the Sabbath, toward the dawn of the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to see the tomb.

2 And behold, there was a great earthquake, for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled back the stone and sat on it.

3 His appearance was like lightning, and his clothing white as snow.

4 And for fear of him the guards trembled and became like dead men.

5 But the angel said to the women, \u201cDo not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified.

6 He is not here, for he has risen, as he said. Come, see the place where he[a] lay.

7 Then go quickly and tell his disciples that he has risen from the dead, and behold, he is going before you to Galilee; there you will see him. See, I have told you.\u201d

8 So they departed quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to tell his disciples.

9 And behold, Jesus met them and said, \u201cGreetings!\u201d And they came up and took hold of his feet and worshiped him.

10 Then Jesus said to them, \u201cDo not be afraid; go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee, and there they will see me.\u201d\n<\/i>\n\n

<\/span>Reflection<\/u>:\n\n

\n\nDeath is defeated.\nSin is broken.\nNew life is available.\n\nThis is the victory of the Kingdom.\n\n

<\/span>Question<\/u>:\n\n

\nAm I living in the reality of the resurrection?\n

<\/span>Prayer<\/u>:
