THE JOURNEY BEGINS

Week 1: Empowered to Go

Jesus does not only call us to Himself. He also sends us out into the world with a divine purpose, equipped by His grace and led by His Spirit.

DAY 1

Your Kingdom Come

“Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”

Matthew 6:9–10

To pray “Your kingdom come” is to invite a holy disruption into our daily lives. We naturally build our own miniature kingdoms, constructed carefully out of comfort, reputation, and control. Yet the Kingdom of God calls us to a beautiful surrender, trading our exhausting self-reliance for His perfect, active grace.

Before His will can be done on earth, we must allow it to be done in us. It is a quiet daily alignment, beginning in the ordinary, unpolished corners of our lives, where we decide to trust His goodness over our anxiety.

Where in my life do I especially need God’s will to be done?

TODAY'S STEP

Take five minutes of silence at noon today. Intentionally surrender your biggest anxiety to Him, whispering: “Your kingdom come in this place.”

PRAYER

Father, alignment with Your heart is my deepest desire. Let Your sovereign love rule over my worries today. May Your kingdom manifest in my home, my work, and my quiet moments. Amen.

DAY TWO

You Are Sent

“Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.”

JOHN 20:21

Jesus did not save us only so that we could gather together in safety. He gathered us so that he could send us out. Our gathering is beautiful, but it is the launching pad for our mission. We are called to step into our communities with the same self-giving love that brought Christ to us.

To be ‘sent’ doesn’t mean you must cross an ocean or step onto a stage. It means crossing the street, opening your front door, and looking at the ordinary spaces in front of you with fresh, hopeful eyes. God is already active in the places you go every day—He is simply inviting you to join Him there.

REFLECT

Where has God already placed me? Who are the neighbors or colleagues I see regularly but rarely pray for?

TODAY

Write down three places where you regularly meet people and pray that God would reveal opportunities to bring His peace there.

A PRAYER FOR THE SENT

“Jesus, help me to recognise the places and people you have already sent me to. Give me eyes of compassion to see them, and the courage to bring your peace into their lives today. Amen.”

DAY THREE

You Are Not Going Alone

MATTHEW 28:18–20

“And Jesus came and said to them, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations… and behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.’”

The Christian mission is not something we attempt in our own strength. It is an overflow of walking with the One who holds all authority, yet chooses to walk with us in our everyday ordinary lives.

What would I attempt for God if I truly believed He was with me?

DAY 4 DEVOTIONAL

Power to Be a Witness

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses…”

Acts 1:8

The Holy Spirit gives us courage, wisdom, love and strength to live with intention and show God’s reality to those around us. We aren’t left to try in our own human limitations; we are equipped with supernatural grace for everyday situations.

Light Where You Are

Matthew 5:14–16

“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden… Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”

DAY 6

Available to God

“Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?’ And I said, ‘Here am I. Send me!’”
— Isaiah 6:8

God is not only looking for the most talented, the most polished, or the uniquely credentialed. He looks for willing people. When Isaiah stood in the presence of the Almighty, he did not present a resume of achievements; he offered his simple, unreserved availability.

Often we wait until we feel entirely ‘ready’ before we step forward into His plans. Yet, our willingness to say, ‘Here am I’ is precisely what opens the floodgates of His transformative grace. Your greatest capability in the Kingdom of God is always your absolute availability.

Is there an area where I have been resisting God?

Offer one area of your life to God again, consciously releasing your desire to stay in complete control.

“Lord, here I am. My life belongs to You. I give You my hands to serve, my heart to love, and my voice to speak. Do with me as You will today. Amen.”

DAY 7 DEVOTIONAL

Ordinary People, Extraordinary God

“For consider your calling, brothers: not many of you were wise according to worldly standards, not many were powerful, not many were of noble birth… But God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong.”

1 Corinthians 1:26–29

Reflection

God has always used ordinary people. Fishermen became apostles. He does not seek the qualified; He qualifies the called. Your ordinary circumstances, skills, and daily encounters are the exact spaces where His extraordinary grace loves to move.

What ordinary thing do I already have that God could use?

“Father, thank You that I do not have to be extraordinary to be used by You. Take my ordinary life, my small talents, and my daily moments. Use them for Your extraordinary Kingdom purposes today. Amen.”

Week 2: The Kingdom at the Workplace

Our work is one of the primary places where our faith becomes visible. Every task, conversation, and decision is an opportunity to reflect the integrity, excellence, and grace of the Kingdom in our daily labor.

Work as Worship

Scripture Focus: Colossians 3:23–24

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.”

Your workplace can become a place of worship. When we shift our focus from pleasing human bosses or seeking mere financial gain to serving Christ Himself, even the most mundane tasks take on eternal significance. Every email sent, every floor swept, and every meeting led is an offering of praise.

Would I work differently today if I remembered that I am serving Christ?

Excellence Matters

“Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm.”

The Reflection

Kingdom influence does not come only through words. Reliability matters. When we approach our tasks with diligence, consistency, and high standards, we build a platform of trust. True excellence is our silent witness in the workplace, honoring God and commanding respect from those around us.

Integrity When Nobody Sees

“Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but he who takes crooked paths will be found out.” — Proverbs 10:9

The Reflection

Integrity means being the same person when nobody is watching. It is the alignment of our public behavior with our private character. In a culture driven by performance, true Kingdom-minded character is quietly forged in the secret places where only God can see.

Day 11 Devotional

Your Attitude Is a Witness

“Do everything without grumbling or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, ‘children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.’ Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky…”

Philippians 2:14–15

Today's Reflection

Our attitude matters. How we respond to pressure, interruptions, and everyday workplace challenges has a louder voice than any words we speak. It is easy to remain pleasant when things go our way, but our reaction under stress reveals our true foundation.

When we actively choose grace over complaining, we don’t just stand out—we shine. Our transformed responses can reveal Christ in real time to colleagues who are watching how we cope with the exact same demands.

DAY 12

Work With People, Not Just Tasks

Philippians 2:3–4

“Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.”

“Workplaces are filled with people carrying stories we cannot see.”

Speak Life

Our words can build or destroy. Kingdom people use words that strengthen, encourage, and impart grace. Every conversation is an opportunity to breathe life into another soul, reflecting the quiet, transformative strength of the Spirit in our everyday places.

Let Your Work Point Beyond You

“The goal is not simply to become impressive people… but to make God visible.”

Week THREE

Week 3: Justice and the Heart of God

God cares deeply about what is right, fair, merciful and compassionate. This week, we explore how His divine justice transforms our daily walk and calls us to love our neighbors actively.

DAY 15

God Loves Justice

“For I, the Lord, love justice…” — Isaiah 61:8

THE REFLECTION

Justice is not simply a political or social idea. Justice comes from the character of God.

KINGDOM DEVOTIONAL

No Favouritism

James 2:1–4

“My brothers and sisters, believers in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ must not show favoritism. Suppose a man comes into your meeting wearing a gold ring and fine clothes, and a poor man in filthy old clothes also comes in…”

Reflection

God does not measure people by wealth, status, or external appearance. In His Kingdom, worldly hierarchies are completely upended. Every single person bears the divine image and is worthy of utmost dignity and honor.

Biblical justice is not cold. Justice protects people. Mercy cares for people.

Peace is not simply avoiding disagreement. Peacemakers step into broken situations with mercy, bridging gaps where resentment thrives. It demands humble courage to seek restoration over retribution.

Reflection

The Good Samaritan did not merely feel sorry for the wounded man on the road—he stopped, bandaged his wounds, and provided for his recovery. Biblical compassion does not remain a distant, internal emotion; it moves tangibly toward people in need.

Your Everyday Mission Field

Colossians 4:5–6

Every Christian has a place of influence. Your kitchen table. Your office. Your classroom. These are not random stopovers; they are the intentional territories where God has placed you to reflect His light.

“Walk in wisdom toward outsiders, making the best use of the time. Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person.”
